Sasha's artistic work involves a multi-layered process of research and physical making, rooted in craft, psychology and sustainability.
She begin with an open-ended research question, or with a material process that she wants to explore.
Her work takes the form of continuous experimentation. She flows from form to form, from material to immaterial, from the narrative to the abstract – process takes a central role in the work.
Sasha works always by hand, by intuition and in community. She reduces the cognitive bias and creates via unconscious mechanisms.
She wants to uncover that which exists within all of us, and is easily ignored.
At its basis, Sasha’s practice seeks to remind the collective of the power of shared, unified love.
